This is a collection of all the exchanges, projects and trips I have participated in so far. I will not forget any of these experiences. All of them were fantastic!
- School trip to London with Bachillerato students at IES Sol de Portocarrero (La Cañada)
This was a trip to London with 80 students to visit the most important landmarks. They could get a taste of the atmosphere at this cosmopolitan and lively city.
- European Comenius Project at IES Pedro Simón Abril (Alcaraz):
This was a two-year multilateral Comenius project about the conservation of the environment through music, art, languages and technology. It was called “Sustainable bridges of communication”. The coordinatinator school was Kurt-schumacher-Schule from Karben (Germany) and there were other 5 schools participating:

- Exchange at IES Pedro de Tolosa (San Martín de Valdeiglesias):
This was a students’ exchange with Wayland High School in Boston (USA). We took 18 students of Bachillerato to Boston and stayed there for two weeks. Then, we received the American students in San Martín. It was a great experience for everybody (students, teachers and families).
- Exchange at IES Pedro de Tolosa (San Martín de Valdeiglesias):
This was a students’ exchange with a French school: “Collège Jeanne D’Albret ” de Pau. All the activities were oriented to the practise of the English, French and Spanish languages. Our students travelled to France by train and stayed in Pau for a week. Then, they received the French students in San Martín.

- School trip to Dublin at IES Villa de Vallecas (Madrid):
This was a school trip to the Republic of Ireland so that our students could do an intensive language course in Dublin. They lived with Irish families for a week and visited some of the most important sites around Dublin.
- European Comenius Project at IES María Guerrero (Collado Villalba):
This was a big multilateral Comenius Project with other schools from several European countries. The coordinator school was in Nijmegen (Holland). We took a group of students to the big meeting in Nijmegen with all the students from the other countries. It was an incredible and unforgetable experience with a great European taste. We also received a group of Dutch students in Collado Villalba. Fantastic!
- Exchange at Centro Educativo Agave (Huércal de Almería):
This was a bilateral exchange of students with Oak Park and River Forest High School in Chicago (USA). First, we received the American students and their teachers in Almería and a few months later, we travelled to the USA. We spent 3 days in New York and then, we travelled to Chicago and spent 3 weeks living with families of the beautiful neighbourhood of Oak Park near Chicago. Amazing but a bit long for students and teachers!
